Unit 3 A long time ago. PAST SIMPLE

In this unit we have studied the past simple.

REMEMBER: you have to add "-ED" to the verb (regular verbs)

For example:     played    worked    climbed    jumped    

(En Inglés el pasado de los verbos regulares es muy fácil porque es la misma forma para todos los sujetos: "I jumped, you jumped, he jumped, ....")

Remember!

We use ‘could’ and ‘couldn’t’ to talk about our abilities in the past. (podía/no podía)

   He could read.                   They could walk.                She could climb trees.

I couldn’t run.                  Dodos couldn't fly.                    It couldn't swim.
